Jane was a wonderful person. I worked with her for many years and attended nature camp where she was a wonderful cook. So many memories. Raising peeps in her kindergarten classroom. Have her class make the Hawwian Islands out of different colored dryer lint during a school wide unit on the states. Her birds! And wiping dried bird poo off her shoulder before classes started. She was a great role model. I was shocked the first time I heard her scream and cover her ears when a class started to get out of hand but it happens to all of us and I have done the same thing- thinking fondly of her. She felt very strongly that kindergarten should be about socialization and not pressure to build math and reading skills- there would be time for that later. Jane has left the world a better place. Rest in peace Jane.
