Obituary of Scott Dean Stemple

Scott Dean Stemple,

67 of Terra Alta died Wednesday October 4, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

The son of the late Robert Walter and Rebecca Coralie Shaver Stemple, he was born December 28, 1955, in Oakland.

Scott was a mechanic for Shaffer Ford in Oakland for 23 years and then a truck driver for Savage. He enjoyed going to auctions, flea markets and yard sales collecting antiques, clocks, and tools. He had an inventive imagination and made unique items.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Connie (Grimm) Stemple; daughter, Brandy Stemple of Terra Alta; two grandchildren, Terry Myers Jr and Candace R. Myers, and two great grandsons, Bentley Scott Lantz and Terry Michael Ray Myers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Simmons.

Scotts wishes were to be cremated.  There will be a memorial service held Sunday October 29, 2023 at Hillcrest Chapel, Terra Alta at 10:30 a.m. with Chip Horn and Barry Kirk officiating.
