I worked with Scott at Shaffer ford for a good while and used to hang out with him in his garage. Scott was a really good man with a lot of talent ,if you could dream it up he would have it made the next day. I learned a lot of things from him over the years I lived in his area. He would drop everything he was doing to help someone in need. Just one of the adventures I had with him was we were going hunting one day and it just so happened it snowed (if you can only imagine that happening in Terra Alta lol) any way we got up before daylight and headed out to the woods. On the way we were talking and all of a sudden he says hey this is my buddy’s house and he needs plowed out, so we plowed him out headed on our way and he says hey this is another good guys place he needs plowed out so we plowed him out. Well the short of the story is we plowed out around 13 driveways made it to the woods at dark never hunted that day but the heart of this big guy and how proud he was for what he could do for his friends was more than I needed to be apart of that day. Scott was a big guy with the biggest heart of anyone I’ve known. My condolences to the family. My wife and I will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely Endre and Diana Melkovics.
