I have frequently visited Bea and she became family to me in those moments. She was so strong and enjoyed the beauty of music, dancing, her flowers and loved keeping up with Facebook. When she played the piano the days I was with her, it was so relaxing. She looked as if she was barely touching the keys and the music was so gentle. I called her “Aunt Bea” when I would come in the door. We would look through catalogs, talk about recipes, and she would always talk about her family, pointing out the pictures of them that lined the shelves. I once bought her a lotion called, “Naked Bee” and boy did she laugh.
We will all miss her gentle smile. I pray for her family and friends to happily remember Bea and take comfort in knowing she loved the Lord. When we simply remember the ones that have passed, they are never really gone. I was blessed by Bea as were many.
