I remember Jim as someone who was always willing to help others. If it wasn’t for Jim I often wonder what my late father, Donnie Dodge, would have done. He called upon Jim many times and Jim was there. I know his presence in the Cransville community will be missed by many. My thoughts are with the entire McConnell family.

Jim was one of the best bus drivers Preston County ever seen. Greeted me each morning with a smile. Even though I was young I have never met a more caring man. Jim valued all of his bus kids. Rest easy Jim you will never be forgotten
