Obituary of Stanley Ervin Muir, Sr

Stanley Ervin Muir, Sr., 66 of Terra Alta, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at home with his loving wife Rebecca and beloved companion Maddie by his side. 

Stanley was born October 8,1958 and was the son of Stanley Eugene and Shirley Jean (Myers) Muir of Hopewell, PA. 

Stanley was a retired truck driver.  He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his friends. 

In addition to his wife, Rebecca and parents, he is survived by his sister Kimberly Muir (Ray), of Hopewell, PA, his three children, Kisa Marie Muir (TJ) of Westernport, MD. Stanley Ervin Muir, Jr. of Hopewell, PA, and Chelsie Lynn Pritt (Dakota) of Oakland, MD.; two step children, Patrick Roger Kope of Terra Alta, WV, and Victoria Rose Kope, of Gillette, WY.   7 grandchildren; Kenneth Wiles, Liam Muir, Tacy Anna-Marie Lewis, Maci Lynn Pritt, Sofia Grace Pritt, Isabelle Ann Pritt, and Finn Samuel Sharp;

in-laws Lonnie and Shirley Cramer, and sister-in- law, Kimberly Parsons (James) and numerous nieces and nephews. 

As per Stanley’s wishes, he donated his body for cancer research. No services are planned at this time.
