Obituary of Peggy Louann Freeland

Peggy Louann Freeland, 51, of Terra Alta, WV, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.

She was born February 4, 1973, in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Brenda (Casteel) Moats.

Peggy enjoyed fishing, arts and crafts, and music. She owned her own store in Smithfield, PA, and restaurant in Terra Alta. She loved to watch butterflies and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Jamie Freeland; two sons, Jeremiah Cole and girlfriend, Lynda Gaylon and Joey Cole and girlfriend, Tammy Neil; two daughters, Sarinda Workman and boyfriend, Joshua Forrest and Alice Cole and boyfriend, Jason Miller; 13 grandchildren, George Farrier, Zoey Farrier, Jasper Farrier, Lacey Farrier, Bailey Farrier, Taylor Farrier, Joe Salisbury, Izabellah Burns, Julieyonnah Burns, Zebriannah Workman, JodieMaree Workman, StormieRain Workman, Gabriel Forrest; one brother, Aaron Stout and, special friend, Gregory Fletcher.

In addition to her mother, Peggy is preceded in death by a brother.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Peggy to the Arthur H Wright Funeral Home, 105 Highland Ave., Terra Alta, WV 26764, to help the family with funeral expenses.

Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 12:00 pm until the 2:00 pm time of service with Rev. Ray Frankhouser. To honor her wishes, after services are completed, Peggy will be cremated.
