Fred Allen Sisler,

74, of Terra Alta died Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Oakland, MD.

The son of the late Paul A. and Wilma J. Jenkins Sisler, he was born March 2, 1949, in Terra Alta.

Fred worked at the National Bureau of Standards, Gaithersburg, Md for many years until he was disabled by a fall.

He was a hard worker and enjoyed mowing lawns and discussing machinery with anyone who would listen.

He is survived by one brother, Ronald R. Sisler; and a sister, Betty S. Leckrone both of Terra Alta; several nephews, nieces and cousins.

A special thank you to Barbara Beerbower for her unwavering support of Fred.

There will be a private family graveside service held at the Terra Alta Cemetery.
