Virginia Blanche Evans,

73, of Terra Alta died Sunday February 5, 2023 at Stonerise Care Facility, Kingwood, WV.

The daughter of the late Austin Edward and Susan Marie Titchnell Masters, she was born November 21, 1949 in Albright, WV.

Virginia was a very kind and special person. She was a loving mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed family and making crafts in her spare time. After 25 years of working she retired from Hopemont Hospital.

She is survived by two sons, Donald "D.J." Wilson Jr. and wife Carol of Oakland, MD and Shaun Wilson of Bridgeport, WV; one brother, Charles "Chuck" Masters of Bruceton Mills, WV; two grandchildren, Peyton and Kierra Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Michael Evans in 2015; a brother, Edward Masters and a sister, Delores Sisler.

Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, WV on Wednesday February 8, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 p.m., and continue from 12:00 noon on Thursday February 9, 2023, until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Revs. Donnie and Madeline Titchnell officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery, Terra Alta, WV..
