Obituary of Chester W Curry

Chester W. Curry, 87, of Corinth passed away Thursday February 9, 2017, at Cortland Acres Nursing Home, Thomas, WV. The son of the late J. Wayne Curry and Beulah Marie Stutler Hitt, he was born April 22, 1929 in Jarvisville, WV. Chester was a long-time member of the Teamsters Local Union 992 and the Elks Lodge 378, Hagerstown, MD and the Moose Lodge . He was a retired tractor trailer truck driver winning many awards for his safe driving over 50 years. He is survived by two sons, Bradley Curry and girlfriend Maggie Carroll of E. Otis, MA and Bradleys two children, Molly Rose Curry Savage of Rota, Spain and Aiden James Curry of E. Otis, MA, and Glen Andrew Curry Betler of Spotswood, NJ and family; two daughters, Brenda Beckman and spouse James of Corinth, WV and Jane Lynn Hall of Fayettsville, NC and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary E. Curry on January 3, 2015. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta from 12:00 noon on Monday February 13, 2017 until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Rev. Eric Beeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt.
