Linda Diane Burns,
71 of Terra Alta died Sunday December 18, 2022, at home with family by her side.
The daughter of the late Theodore "Ted" E. and Betty June Trader Reese, she was born May 4, 1951, in Morgantown.
Linda loved going to the beach, sewing, gardening, and taking care of her animals.
She is survived by her husband, Chester Edward Burns; a daughter and spouse, Patricia and Charles Parrish of Farmington; two sons and spouses, John and Christy Burns of Thornton and Joe and Samantha Burns of Terra Alta; a sister and spouse, Sue and Rick Lantz of Terra Alta; three brothers and spouses, Allen and Sheila Reese of Terra Alta, Robert and Karen Reese of Crellin, MD and Mike and Jennifer Reese of Kingwood; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Salt Lick on Wednesday December 21, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Keplinger officiating.
