I was blessed to have Delmas as my neighbor and friend for over 36 years. His kindness was always present. I will miss him. Betty I’m so sorry for your lose, there are no words, I pray that God gives you peace of heart & mind.

Last time I saw Delmas we gave each other a big hug and reminisced. He was always such a kind caring person.

So many memories of him at our farm. My dad loved when he came to visit and they could talk for hours on the phone. I remember a New Years Eve where he had made his own fireworks and brought them out. We had a lot of fun lighting them. They made the M80s look like toys. I was always glad when he showed up to help with baleing hay. He was an incredibly hard worker and was great to have on the wagon and in the barn. I also remember him helping with repair projects, replacing hubs, welding and such. I remember him helping us build our garage He would hang at the very top of the rafter and guide the next one in place He had so many talents that helped us out through the years. We are praying for his family and friends and remembering all the good times we had.

Delmas was a genuine sweet person. The last time I saw him, he gave me a big hug with tears in his eyes telling me how glad he was to see me. What a blessing to have such a friend. He was always smiling. God bless you Mrs. Metheny. Prayers for your comfort.

R I P my friend , we shared many wonderful times together as kids.Riding mini bikes , playing softball and building that tree house in your back yard. So sorry for your loss Betty, I wish there was more that I could say that would help. May God give your heart peace that only he can.
