Nancy Kay Baker,

78 of Terra Alta died Tuesday August 30, 2022, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown.

The daughter of the late Andrew Albert and Dorothy Ruth Laughlin Vlodek, she was born March 19, 1944, in Morgantown.

Nancy was a member of the Living Hope Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, reading, and watching westerns and working jigsaw puzzles.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and fur grandmother

She survived by two children and spouses, Lorie A. and Frank Hiltzer of Gormania and Walter E. and Lacey Baker of Terra Alta; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Harsh of Myersville, MD and Mary Shaffer of Martinsburg, WV; three grandchildren, Christopher Hiltzer, Ashley McMannus and Gabrielle Baker; and one great granddaughter, Kallismera McMannus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Baker.

Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta from 2:00 p.m. on Thursday September 1, 2022, until the 5:00 p.m. time of service with Chaplain Rodney Powell officiating. Cremation services will follow.
