Mary Louise Lewis, 75 of Terra Alta, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born on December 25, 1946, in Terra Alta, WV to the late Frank A. and Mary Alice (Smith) Metheny.

Mary was treasurer of the White Oak United Brethren Church. She liked country and western concerts and traveling with her late husband, Junior. Mary worked as an administrative assistant for Farm Credit in Oakland and was a graduate of Terra Alta High School class of 1964.

She is survived by her brother Harold "Whitey" Metheny and his wife Carla of Spotsylvania, VA and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Lewis and one son, Gregory Schrock.

Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 11 am until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Terra Alta.
