Obituary of Betsy Lynn Digman

Betsy Lynn Digman, 64, of Oakland, died Friday, February 25, 2022 at home. The daughter of the late Charles F. and Sarah "Sally" Freeland and Janet Ridenour of Terra Alta, she was born May 27, 1957 in Kingwood. Betsy was a member of the Divine Hope Church in Oakland. She was a 1975 graduate of Terra Alta High School. She went to cosmetology school and was an EMT for Southern Rescue. She was a 30-year kidney transplant survivor. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by a daughter and spouse, Victoria and Gordon Kisner of Terra Alta; two sons, Jamie Collins and Georgia of Terra Alta and Charles Collins, Sr. and Leslie of Oakland; two brothers, William Ridenour and Michael Ridenour, both of Terra Alta; three sisters, Sarah Reckart of Terra Alta, Frances Shupp of Thomas, and Frances Powell of Terra Alta; 14 grandchildren: Mandi Kisner and Craig, Dustin Kisner and Hannah, Gerald Kisner, Bobby-Jo Baker, Ryan Collins, Charles Collins, Jr., Bryson Collins, Kaylee Collins, Kileian Collins, Cash Collins, Kingstyn Collins, Kimberly, Carrie and Kristie; 16 great grandchildren: Madeline, Claire, Chloe, Braxton, Makenna, Jaylynn, Aliyah, Cameron, Christian, Kaylee, Sophia, Landon, Leeland, Kiara, Caleb and Liam; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Digman; a sister, Elizabeth Frazee and a brother, David Ridenour. There will be a private family gathering with arrangements by Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta. Donations may be made in her memory to Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home to assist her family.
