Mr. Carl Schoolcraft and dear friends of Brian , We are so sorry to see that Brian has passed away. We truly loved him and his personality . We will carry many fond memories spent with Brian at the Terra Alta Library . He brought so much joy to Lylah and we will miss him greatly . Brian was Lylah's best friend and she looked forward to seeing him and trying to find him at the library !

There are so many memories I don’t know where to start. I can’t remember my life without Brian in it. He will be extremely missed. Brian and I were sitting on Carl and Joanna’s porch one day, laughing, giggling. Carl said it reminded him of when we were kids. I always felt like the Schoolcraft’s were part of my family. I lived in Texas for 20 years but when I visited with them it was like I had never left. The Schoolcraft’s are a big part of Terra Alta how I remember it. Thanks to them for being a special family.

I will never forget Brian being at the Terra Alta Library when I worked there, such a very delightful person. He will be sadly missed.
