Obituary of Carlton Junior Foy

Carlton Junior Foy, 88, of Terra Alta, died Tuesday January 19, 2021 at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown. The son of the late Herbert Henry and Bulah Bertha Beckman Foy, he was born July 27, 1932 in Swanton, MD. He was a long time employee of Clem Teets Oil Company. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a very special relationship with his grandson Dylan. They were hunting and fishing partners and Dylan was his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife, Gloria "Peach" Foy; three daughters and spouses, Missy and Robert Wilson of Chester, VA, Shelly and Randy Manning of Cumberland, MD and Sherry and Tom Baker of Pennsylvania; one brother and spouse, Jim & Dottie Foy of Terra Alta; one sister, Doris Howell of Swanton, MD and three grandchildren, Dylan Foy and Brittany and Thomas Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Carlton Butch Foy and a sister, Betty Savage. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta from noon on Saturday January 23, 2021 until the 2:00 p.m. time of service with Rev. Eric Beeman officiating. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask.
