Obituary of June Elizabeth Waybright

June Elizabeth Waybright, 71, of Mount Storm, passed away, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at home in her husband's arms. She was born in Cumberland, MD on June 21, 1949, a daughter of the late John Harrison Cosner and Vera Virginia Valley Cosner. She was a loving wife and mother. June was strong in her faith. She became involved in the ministry at a young age teaching youth choir and Sunday School. June was a member of the Whitedale Brethren Church. She enjoyed playing piano, singing in the choir and hunting. She also loved taking family trips. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Pastor Stanley Milton Waybright; one son, LaVerne Stanley Waybright of Lovettsville, VA and one sister, Carol Virginia Kraus and husband David of Maysville, WV. Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 4 pm to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Whitedale Brethren Church in Terra Alta at 11 am Monday, October 26, 2020, with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. Burial will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery in Mount Storm. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, and social distancing will be honored, and all guests should wear a mask.
