Obituary of Glenn Ray LaRue

Glenn Ray LaRue, 80, of Terra Alta, died Saturday September 12, 2020 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. The son of the late Leslie and Ruth Stone LaRue he was born June 14, 1940 in Evansville, WV. He retired from the Department of Highways. Glenn enjoyed being with his family, farming, riding his side by side, gardening and collecting guns. He is survived by five sons, Leslie D. (Shirley) LaRue of Mt. Lake Park, MD, William (Carolyn) LaRue and Charles LaRue of Terra Alta, Joe (Heidi) LaRue of Kingwood and Anthony (Erica) LaRue of Morgantown; brother, Wayman C. LaRue of Terra Alta; sister Vivian Rutherford of Fellowsville; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry LaRue and Lantz Shaffer. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial service held at a later date.
