Obituary of Virgil LeRoy Host

Virgil LeRoy Host, 79, of Terra Alta, died on Friday July 10, 2020 at home with family by his side. The son of the late Thelma and Albert Channels, he was born February 8, 1941 in Grafton. Virgil retired from Hopemont Hospital and the First United Bank in Oakland. He was friendly with everyone and never knew anyone to be a stranger. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates Fan and enjoyed antique cars. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Cale Host; three sons and spouses, Ronald and Mary Evelyn of Corinth, Don and April Host and Tom and Stacey Host all of Terra Alta; 11 grandchildren: Eric, Christopher, Brandon, Kyla, Avery, Aaron, Tehya and Tyra Host, and Mariyah, Nathaniel and Cheyanne Bishop; one great grandson, Reid Host.
