Obituary of Clemie Severe

In Loving Memory of Clemie Severe,

72, of Morgantown, and formerly of Terra Alta, died Thursday February 21, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side.

The daughter of the late Hazel Bowling, she was born May 13, 1946 in Marytown, WV.

Clemie loved to play Bingo. She enjoyed music and liked to dance.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert A. Severe; three daughters and spouses, Sherry and John Sisler of Reedsville, Carol and Chris Harbert of Morgantown and Michele and Rex Roberts of Wytheville, VA; one son and spouse, Mark and Lisa Severe of Buckhannon; ten grandchildren: Janell (Jason) Peaslee, Sabrina (Tommy) King, Liane Severe, Bryan (Amber) Severe, Matthew, Andrew (Shannon), Jacob and Braxton Roberts, Nicholas and Hannah Harbert; and 9 great grandchildren and a dear friend, Mary Feathers.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert B. Severe.

Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Sunday, from 1-6:00 p.m. and from noon on Monday, February 25, 2019 until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Pastor John Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
