Sonia J. Greaser, Licensee in Charge
Sonia is a graduate of Central Preston High School, class of 1978, and of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science in Business Administration. She went to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1992 and obtained her Funeral Directors license. Sonia along with her husband, Robert, and Mark Spear, went into partnership in 1996 and purchased Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home. She co-owned and operated the business until 2015 when it was purchased by Jerry L. & Jennifer L. Field of Masontown. She enjoys her job and the people in the community so much that she stayed on board to work with Jerry on his new business venture.
She enjoys the outdoors, walking and hiking, yoga, reading and quilting.
Sonia lives in Kingwood with her husband Robby, a manager with Mountaineer Gas Company. They have two children, Dane Greaser of Oklahoma and their first grandson, Barrett, and Chelsey Greaser of Bruceton Mills.
Jerry L. Field, Director
Jerry, a licensed funeral director, embalmer and pre-need counselor, is a Preston County native and 1986 graduate of West Preston High School. He is a graduate of Fairmont State College and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Sciences. He co-owns Field Funeral Home and Field of Vision Optical Center in Masontown with his wife, Jennifer.
He is very active in the community and is always willing to lend a helping hand to those who are in need. Jerry enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and working on old cars, especially Pontiac Trans Ams. He loves taking "road trips" all over the country, either in the Trans Am or on his Harley.
Jerry resides in Masontown with his wife Jennifer, an optician at Field of Vision Optical Center. They have two children, Ceara Lewis of Kingwood and LCpl Joshua L. Field, USMC Cherry Point, NC.
