Alice and family I'm so sorry to hear about Charlie's passing. I know that will leave such a large hole in your family. At least he is not suffering any longer, as if he would ever tell you he was. He will be sadly missed but we can all rejoice because he has won his final victory and is home with the Lord.

We are shocked and saddened by Charlie passing. He was like family to us. He even came to our daughter's wedding. Both our children plus us bought numerous vehicles from him. He always knew what we were looking for and got us the best deals. I was bad at locking my keys in the car. When I was looking for a new car he showed me one he said was perfect for me. It had the code on the door to open. Problem solved. Will miss him. Our prayers are with you Alice. Your family as well and many others who Charlie touched

I bought many trucks from Crooked Charlie. Besides fishing and bow hunting, Charlie spent a lot of time playing volleyball. He always had a story. Never heard him say a bad thing about anyone. He will be missed by many. So proud to call Charlie a friend.

Charlie was always such a kind and gracious soul. So many wonderful memories of him not only working at Shaffer with Rick and "Uncle Don" Savage, but also many years of playing volleyball, when we were all still able to jump and move without complaining or fear of "breaking a hip". Charlie always had a smile on his face and if you didn't he could put one there. I honestly can't remember knowing him and his wonderful wife Alice. Our sincere condolences to his entire family. May God Bless and comfort you during this difficult time. Love and prayers for you all.

I have only known Charlie a couple of years when we would gather at the Elder's Men meeting at Kingwood Christian Fellowship. He had the best stories to tell. He enjoyed serving the Lord and now he is praising the Lord in person. My condolences and prayers go out to his family.
