Lois Jean (Wilson) Loughry, 63, of Kingwood, WV died Friday, May 1, 2026 at home. Born July 15, 1962 in Kingwood, she is the daughter of the late Oley C. and Peggy J. (Uphold) Wilson.

Lois worked as a deli worker at Foodland for many years and then took on the most important job of homemaker. She loved cooking and working with flowers and took great joy in making everyone feel at home. Her biggest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. When her health allowed, she attended the Kingwood Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Loughry; one daughter, Camren Lynn Britner and husband, Jason of Terra Alta; one son, Duane Scott Loughry and fiancé, Amber Feather of Kingwood; one sister, Jo Bohon and husband, Randy of Terra Alta; two brothers, Oley C. Wilson, Jr. of Grafton and James Wilson of Kingwood; seven grandchildren and one bonus daughter, Danyell Murphy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Allen Loughry in 2022.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 2:30 at the Terra Alta Cemetery with Pastor Barry Kirk officiating.
