Carolyn Ann (Watring) Cuppett, 79, of Terra Alta, WV, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on May 13, 1946, in Elk Garden, WV a daughter to the late Ray Woodrow Wotring and Blanche (Knotts) Wotring.

Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was always an outgoing and active woman, whether it was a trip to Walmart or just working around the house, she was nonstop. Above all, Carolyn loved and cherished her family and all the time she spent with them.

She is survived by three sons, David Rhodes, Allen Rhodes and Bobby Rhodes; grandchildren, Tyler Rhodes, Jayden Rhodes, Erin Thomas, Eric Browning, Rebecca Whitehair, Shawn Rhodes and Dillon Rhodes; great grandchildren, Zayden Moats, Ian Moats and Annabelle Moats, Hunter Whitehair and Payson Whitehair, Hudson Browning, Ellie Browning and Pierson Browning; two sisters, Brenda Feather and Sharon Jennings, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by one son, Danny Joe Rhodes; one brother, Denzil Wotring, on sister, Linda Himelrick, and an infant sister, Shirley Wotring.

To honor her wishes, Carolyn will be cremated. Professional and compassionate cremation services will be provided by the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV.
