Obituary of Jennie Susan Hileman

Jennie Susan (DeSantis) Hileman, 82, of Kingwood, WV, died on January 14, 2026, at Kingwood Healthcare Center. Jennie was born December 20, 1943, in Masontown, WV, a daughter of the late Louis and Lucy Lucille (Whitehair) DeSantis. She was employed for many years at Marrara Brothers Inc. She was a lifelong member of the First Pentecostal Church of Kingwood where she never neglected the chance to ask for prayer for "her boys". Jennie was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Jennie enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, going to church, and crocheting. She is survived by three sons, James R. Hileman of Baltimore, MD, Charles Ray Hileman and spouse Andrea, of Glen Bernie, MD, and Randy L. Hileman of Terra Alta; a brother Louie DeSantis Jr. of Masontown, WV; two grandsons who were the love of her life, Noah Jacob and Nathaniel James Hileman; three nieces, Lucinda Lewis, Mary Hess, Lauren DeSantis; seven nephews, William Cavallier, Kevin DeSantis, Joey DeSantis, Bobby DeSantis, Rodney DeSantis, Jason DeSantis, and William DeSantis; a special niece, Glenda DeWitt, and a great-niece Isabelle McGee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Robert Hileman Sr; one brother, Joseph DeSantis; two sisters, Rosemary Tripp and Catherine Smith. Family and friends will be received at the First Pentecostal Church of Kingwood, 46 Whetsell St, Kingwood, WV 26537, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm time of service with Pastor Josh Burke and Pastor Greg Moran officiating.
