Obituary of Deborah G. Dickson

Deborah G, (McClure) Dickson, age 70, of Terra Alta, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Majestic Care Hopemont in Terra Alta.

Deborah was born June 21, 1955 in South Charleston, WV. She is the daughter of the late Howard Perry and Alice Jean (McClanahan) McClure.

She was a homemaker and earlier in life worked as a patient care assistant at several nursing homes. Deborah loved animals (especially her cats) and children. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly and she loved her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Swallie and husband, Jefferey; and Jessica Pickana and husband, Timothy; three brothers, Steven McClure; Denver McClure and wife, Sandra; Boyd McClure and wife, Cheryl; three sisters, Brenda Myers and husband, Hobert; Patty Sullivan; and Terri Pardo and husband, Marc; and two grandchildren, Bryer and Ashur Pickana

Friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, in Terra Alta on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 10:30 am until the 12:00pm time of service with pastor Marshall Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, WV.
