Mary Ann Spahr, 83, of Terra Alta, WV, passed away on June 1, 2025, at her home.

She was born on April 20, 1942, a daughter of the late Leslie Poling, Sr. and Lucy C. (Haught) Poling.

Mary enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking big meals for friends and family, crocheting, and crafting. She loved babies, especially her grandkids.

Mary is survived by her children, Gordon Spahr and wife, Shirley, Getty Spahr, Particia Calhoun and husband, Donald, Timothy Spahr, and Ricky Spahr and wife, Christie; grandchildren, Andrew Calhoun and wife, Sara, Benjamin Sechrengost, and Seth Spahr; great grandchildren, Owen, Ava, Ivan; brothers, Leslie Poling, Jr. and Ronald Poling; sisters, Linda Moyer and Teresa Poling.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Spahr, and brothers, Walter Poling, Leonard Poling, Randy Poling, and Bradley Poling, daughter-in-law and best friend, Dorothy Spahr.

To honor her wishes, Mary will be cremated. Compassionate and professional cremation services will be provided by the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV.
