Obituary of Anna May Sisler

Anna May "Annie" Sisler, 83, of Aurora, WV, passed away peacefully Friday, February 7, 2025, at home with family by her side. Annie was born January 30, 1942, in Aurora, WV, the daughter of the late Troy Ausburn Ayers and Grace Beatrice (Wotring) Ayers. Annie was a 1959 graduate of Aurora High School. She worked various jobs, but the most rewarding was keeping books for her husband and brother-in-law's construction business. She also was the treasurer for the Methodist Church. She loved spending time with family, taking long walks with her husband, Bink, and making her famous potato salad for picnics. Annie will truly be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William Lee "Bink" Sisler; children, Kim Sisler (Terri Winters) of Jane Lew, WV, Chris Sisler of Aurora, WV, and Lisa Roth (Larry) of Eglon, WV; granddaughter, Caitlin Roth (Daniel) of Chesapeake, VA; two brothers, Truman Ayers (Carolyn) of Kingwood, WV, and Randall Ayers (Linda) of Warwick, RI. Compassionate and professional cremation services will be provided by the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home of Terra Alta, WV. To honor Annie's wishes, no public services are planned at this time.
