Obituary of Jacqueline R Auvil

Jacqueline R "Jackie" Auvil, 58, of Aurora, WV, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at her home. Jackie fought a long and courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). She was born on July 17, 1966, in Albany, GA, a daughter of Jerry Ray Kelly and the late Patricia Pearl (Fraley) Wolfe. Jackie held a few jobs over the years, but her most important was being a homemaker, she would often have nine children in the home. She was a member of the Whitedale Brethren Church. Jackie loved her family, especially her grandchildren, they were "the apple of her eyes" and whole world. She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Auvil; four sons, Nick Auvil and wife, Carlie, Kenny Auvil and girlfriend, Jeannie, Ryan Auvil, and Danny Auvil and girlfriend, Brooke; daughter, Jennifer Anderson; ten grandchildren, Trevor, Remy, Ruby, Annie, Nathan, Reda, Stephanie, Zyla, Becklie, Blake, and one on the way; sister, Maureen Anderson; brother, Jerry Ray Kelly, Jr.; her bonus family, Tyler Amos and partner, Tiffany Miller, and their children, Raiden and Ryker. Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV, on Tuesday February 4, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm time of service with Pastor Stanley Waybright officiating.
